The house and gardens are open to the public , like many stately homes. There is a function centre, and guest houses for rental. The aim is that the Dumfries House is self sustaining, and contributes to the Princes Trust, aiding other charities, while maintaining a Heritage building for the people of Scotland. THIS IS NOT CAMILLA'S HOUSE.
